elementary (Grades 1 - 6)
Building a foundation with a love of learning
The years 6-10 are formative years, as this is the time of habit formation. Our multi-faceted program inculcates strong foundational habits and a lifelong love of learning.
Our Curriculum Focus
Our Elementary Program focuses on nourishing the development of the knowledge acquiring and the working senses, and not just on information acquisition, in line with our aim to fan the spark of learning. During this period of ages 6-10, there is an increased focus on the development of the Pranamaya Kosha - the vital energy that drives all the systems in the body.
We focus on experiential learning and one-to-one interaction with the teachers, allowing the teacher to cater to the individual needs of each child, encouraging them to move along in their own learning trajectory. Fine arts and hand skills also form a pivotal part of our program facilitating fine motor skills, hand-eye-coordination, creativity and ultimately, development of the finer aspects of the personality (through nourishing all five layers of the personality).
